I have always had a fear of going to the dentist and am a nervous patient unfortunately I have been “unlucky” with my teeth and have several fillings and crowns and I am only 27! I am concerned that my teeth will continue to get worse and I will loose all my teeth, I am unsure why I have worse teeth than everyone else I know and if there is anything I can do other than brush and floss to improve the health of them? I am very self conscious of my smile as I have silver fillings which look black and overcrowding at the font, what procedures would you suggest to give me a better smile?

What treatments could correct silver fillings and overcrowding?
Thursday, December 2nd, 2010Should I get invisalign braces or a six month smile program?
Wednesday, November 24th, 2010Hi, I am 24 years old. I have been looking into having my teeth straightened for some time now. I am really unhappy with the appearance of my smile. I have had a consultation with an orthodontist and following x-rays and impressions I have been told that I have over crowding on both upper and lower teeth, my two front top teeth stick out almost 7mm more than my bottom front teeth so I am self conscious of this. I have a gap where one of my molars has been removed and my dentist said that this would cause a problem with invisalign braces. He advised that I have an implant after the orthodontic treatment. I was quoted between £5000-£6000 for invisalign or £2500 for fixed braces with clear brackets and told that they would be fixed for 12-18 months. As I am a teacher I am keen to look into the least noticeable options. Would you recommend the six month smile program? Ho much would it cost in the UK? I live near Cardiff. Thank you very much.

I don’t know whether to choose the fixed braces or invisalign, any advice?
Friday, September 3rd, 2010hi, well basically i am 25 and unhappy with my teeth. I have an overjet on the top 2 teeth and crowding on the bottom front teeth. I was interested in invalign and have been to see two orthodontists. The first one assured me that my teeth would be perfect at the end of the treatment but the second one put me off slightly as he said that my teeth would be much better than they are now but to get the best result i would have to get a traditional fixed brace…leaving me confused as i dont want the fixed brace but i dont want to pay for invisalign and not get the desired results. *the second ortho said that there are two teeth on,
My canines protrude much more than my other teeth, what can I do about this?
Friday, September 3rd, 2010Hello, Doctor. I have a problem with my two canines. I am thirteen years old and my canines seem to be much further forward than my other teeth. And my left canine is a little higher to my gums compared to the other. Is there any possibility that these would be fixed? I envy my other friends because they have perfect-aligned canines. You’re answer would be a GREAT help for me. Like, thank you so much.,
Are there any options to sort my teeth before I get married in May?
Monday, August 23rd, 2010I am getting married in May next year. I was in the process of getting 6 month smiles. After the impressions were taken I was told the upper part of my mouth has overcrowding of 13mm and the lower 9mm. I was told it may not be possible to have make the space needed and have the results wanted in time for the wedding. I’m wondering if there are any other options to at least improve my smile. Veneers, filling material etc. The wedding is booked and I really dont want my photos ruined by my teeth or me not smiling. Thanks.,
