Can u tell me rough cost for 4 front teeth straightening

Tuesday, October 6th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I am thinking of having some kind of treatment to straighten my teeth, and am not sure about which route to take. I am currently considering both cosmetic and orthodontic procedures. I have spoken to my dentist, who has been really unhelpful, and pretty obstructive, refusing to talk about either option, saying she isn’t qualified. She refused to answer even the basics, like would I be able to have invisible braces fitted? She has referred me to an orthodontist, but this will cost me £100 for the initial consultation. My question really is, I am 30 years old – how long is it likely that I would have to have fixed braces on for (presuming that this is the only option for me). I think that my teeth are over-crowded, so it’s likely I would have to have teeth out. I was told by an old dentist that I had an overbite of 7mm. If I had to wear this for 2 years or more, I may consider cosmetic work. Can you give me some rough approximations on cost for 4 front teeth straightening? Also can you tell me what is involved with cosmetic work?

Ive crooked teeth and my front teeth over laps either side should I use the bands?

Sunday, October 4th, 2009
Q.
Dear Dr. Basically here is my dilemma…i have a gap between my two front teeth and i would like it fixed… This is the problem i have a big fear of wire and needles in my mouth this means in the past braces have been difficult. I have some teeth effect bands but i am unsure of whether to use them… I have done much research and the three main problems that dentists have are that they can cause gaps either side of the teeth in question, they have been known to cause gum irritation and also that they are not a permanent solution. I have crooked teeth and my two front teeth over lap either side so the gaps arent a problem, also i would only use them durin the day between meals, this means i could be sure they do not slip near my gums. Lastly i realise that this diy dentistry would only be short term. I am basically asking what do you think for my circmstances? Should i use the bands? thanks.

Is there any brace which I can use without monthly checking.

Sunday, October 4th, 2009
Q.
Good morning, Dr. Moore! I would like to ask you for an advise, if it’s possible. I want to have straight teeth and perfect smile, however all braces require monthly appointments with doctors and fixing the braces. In my case I can’t visit doctor so often, because I always live in differnt countries (for study, work) and can reach the same doctor only once in 6 months. So are there any braces or something else what I can use without monthly checking. Thank you in advance, Best regards

Ive gap between my front teeth what is the best solution invisalign or lumineers

Sunday, October 4th, 2009
Q.
Hi Doctor, I have been reading a lot about Lumineers and invisalign. I had braces at the age of 22 for about a year and a half. I used have uneven teeth, which sort of got straightened but nothing close to perfect. I have a gap between my font teeth which I want fixed. I am wondering what the best solution for me would be? I want to avoid undergoing the painful process of braces all over again. Can you please advice me on this? Also how can I get an appointment at your clinic and when? Thanking you in anticipation. Regards,

My top row of teeth are slightly inwards how could i get it fixed

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009
Q.
I wondered what the best way I could fix these cosmetic problems. Preferably without braces. My top row of teeth go slightly inwards and my two front teeth are face a little towards each other. I also have a very small gap on each side between my first and second premolars. i should also say i still have 4 baby teeth around the back on each side, and there are no big teeth to grow in. is there a plate i could wear that would fix all this? No one has ever noticed and no dentist has ever recommended anything, so i wanted to get another opinion.

Im disappointed with result of invisable braces can you advice?

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009
Q.
Hi Dr Glaister, Iv have come to the end of my treatment with invisalign and not that happy with the results. My dentist advised me to have a mental brace on the top to bring my two side teeth down. The bottom ones are lovely and straight. The top have straightened too but im disapointed as iv paid alot of money for ‘invisable’ braces and now need to ‘ugly betty’ style for 2-3months. very shallow i know but hey… this is the world we live in. id be so greatful to hear back from you.
