Ive a crossbite will invisalign help me out on this

Saturday, October 17th, 2009
Q.
Hi, I was wondering if you could help. I think I have a crossbite; my teeth dont sit properly against each other, and if i try toi, my bottom front teeth go behind my top teeth, although my jaw is quite forward so doesnt seem like an underbite. This makes my mouth curve down making me look unhappy even though I’m not, and makes my mouth and jaw look small compared to the rest of my face. I was wondering if invisilign might help this, or surgery, or if this is even something that can be fixed. It feels like my jaw is out of line but I guess I’m use to it so havent done anything. thanks a lot foryour time

Can I hv aligners for my bottom teeth Plz advice

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009
Q.
Hi! i would appreciate your guidance. My bottom teeth have moved over thelast two years,i believe due to me biting down on my back teeth when i am stressed and at the time i went through a personal trauma. I have been to see one harley street authordontist who recomended invisalign. It was completely out of my budget. I have noticed that it has affected my smile,i have a big smile and haave no problem with my confidence but i am growing increasingly upset by my teeth, especially seeing perfectly straight teeth in photos only two years previous. I have just been researching veneers, although i would not like my own teeth removed or ground down to have them. This evening i have just found out about the inman aligner,i am really interested. How do i get advice on what is truly the best option for my teeth? I hope you can help… Regards

What would be the treatment for having invisible braces?

Monday, October 12th, 2009
Q.
Hi dr rob…. I am now 27 and had a number of removable braces from the age of 14-16 than a fixed brace from 16 till I was nearly 19. I was really happy with the results, but shortly after having this removed my bottom teeth all crossed over again. I did visit my orthodontist about this but told ne at the time all they could do would be to file each tooth down then put a fixed brace on again. I was concerned about the health of my teeth filing them so did not go ahead. Since I have remained unhappy with my teeth but thought there was nothing that could be done, until I heard recently about invisable braces. I would like to look into this but feel that as the job wasn’t done properly in the first place that to pay for this now would be unfair. My top teeth have now also moved since I have a wisdom tooth coming through, and now I am feeling unhappy with these also. I was also told I would never get any wisdom teeth!! What would be your suggestion for how I go treatment from here?? Kind regards

Q.
Hello, As a child I wore a brace on my upper teeth but over time my teeth have moved and I now have a front tooth that is not in alignment with the others. I was wondering what would be the better option for me to correct this. I’ve been looking at Invisalign and Inman Aligner, can you tell me the pros and cons for each, and also what kind of cost would I be looking at.

Monday, October 12th, 2009
Q.
Hi Dr Patel I am interested in having the invisilgn for my bottom teeth which are slightly crooked in front. Would my dentist have to recommend me or can I just make an appointment with a reputable othodontic centre.
