The gums of my front teeth are receding day-by-day and the size of both of my front teeth are increasing and also my gums bleed very frequently.since i dont have an health insurance i have not consulted any dentist.which treatment do you suggest for me & what kind of insurance should i take???it would be nice of you if you mention the cost of the treatment as well

Hi I have just been to my dentist for a check up as I have a problem with shoting pains and aching pains from my top teeth up into my nose I had a nose operation 9 months ago which the ent says has healed well and there is no problems with my nose my two front canines have gun receeding very badly and my dentist suggested a toothpaste for sensitive teeth and a flouroide mouth wash I have done this for a week and it has improved slightly but can you tell me do you think this reedeing gums is causing me these problems and how long will it be before the problem has disappeared as i do not want to go back to the ent unless it is a problem with my nose and are there any other things that I should do to help this many thanks

I am 64 and my gums are shrinking and I am noticing a gap which looks as if I have food stuck between my gum and my tooth – this is becoming embarrassing and I was wondering if there was a procedure to correct this – or like the aching joints something I have to put up with! I had veneers placed on my top six teeth two years ago

I had veneers placed on my top six teeth two years ago. They were fine for the first year but since then my gums have been pulling away from the edges of them. I have no gum disease and they do not bleed. My dentist used a special tool to ensure that edges of my veneers were not rough and irritating my gums but this hasn’t made any difference. The gum between my right front tooth and the tooth next to it has the worst recession and I can see the edge of the veneer. It also makes it look like the veneer on the tooth next to my front tooth is sticking out alot. What can I do about my gums? and would you recommend that I have a larger veneer placed on the tooth with the biggest gap? I also have stains along the gum line of my veneers. They are an unattractive yellow colour – I am seeing my dentist next month, will he be able to remove these stains? if not what do I do?

I am smoker in France my front teeth seem to be spreading apart

Hi, I am a 49 year old smoker who now lives in France, however I am about to be back in the UK for a month, my front teeth seem to be spreading apart from the 2nd ant both sides (not the centre) is there any way I can get them put back together or the gaps filled as it is now becomming quite unsightly and looks like I have a tooth loss either side of the front two, my teeth are straight otherwise.

Since losing my partner to cancer I have no confidence

Since losing my partner to cancer I have no confidence. I have always hated my teeth, but now I’m obsessed. My dentist tells me, even with lottery money, nothing could be done due to my bad gums. I recently had my teeth whitened in the states & already I’m a little happier, although a long way to go. Hi, i am 30 years old and have recently in the past couple of months occurred a problem with my upper teeth. i had a perfect overbite and underbite and my teeth have never had any kind of problems in the past but i have no idea whats going on my gums hurt alot now and i feel my upper teeth still pushing upwards. i have been to my dentist and the only explanation he has is that for some reason my teeh could be moving upwards because that back teeh are pushing foward but i find that hard to accept because all my other teeh seem to be in the exact place as before, so please could you help me understand my problem because at this age i was not expecting such a problem.

I have gum disease and am embarrassed with my teeth.My gums have been receding gradually for a few years now and this has caused my bottom front four teeth to become lose and gaps are starting to appear. my top four teeth are also beginning to start having gaps.what options of dental work would i have open to me with my particular problem ? and how much would it cost ?
