Hi, my front teeth were not straight with the front of my mouth. this has been a problem for over 30 years. 12 months ago i asked the dentist to crown my 4 front teeth so they would look nice, now one tooth is loose and i,m looking at dental implant. do you visit any other part of the country? i live in northampton. will i have a gap until the implant is complete.(this is my biggest fear) can the proceedure be done over a short period of time? all i want is to smile. people think i’m unhappy because i never smile. can you help?

I need to change my dentist as my teeth in total are messed up.

I am a 29 year old male and near enough all my back teeth have either fallen out or are decaying really badly. I have my front teeth however I feel unless I am able to get some help with this I then they will go the same way. Not to bore you with the details however I have been through a pretty tough time over the past few years and medication has not helped with the decyaing of my teeth I feel. Due to this I have not visited a dentist for years and this has meant I have ended up with the teeth I have. I am now at a point where I both need and want to do something about them and I feel if I could get partial dentures to the back of my mouth, both upper and lower this would help me out. The problem I have is that I live in Scotland, (Glasgow Area) and I do not know who to go for to help me out and also any idea of the cost I would be looking at for this. I am totally and utterly embarassed by the way I have let my mouth/teeth get into the mess they have. I do now however need help and would hate for a dentist to give me into trouble for the mess of my mouth as I am already mortified. Any help or assistance you are able to give would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks very much in advance

After my bridge broke I am considering implants please suggest.

Friday, November 27th, 2009
Q.
I had a bridge spanning a gap of two front teeth attached to one canine and one incisor(think thats what its called middle front top) The bridge broke this week and broke the root of the front incisor and broke the post in half in the canine. My dentist says there is no option but to remove them and have a plate. As I have Sjogrens Syndrome, a dry mouth, I am looking for a different option if possible. I take 7.5mg of prednisolone daily for polymyalgia rheumatica and 150mg monthly of ibandronic acid for my bones to stop osteoporosis. Could I be a candidate for implants? Should implants be put in at extraction or do you wait till its healed? Obviously there is a gap where two have been extracted many years ago which would require implants as well. Advise please as extraction is pencilled in for Thursday next week

Can I have implants to support two missing teeth?

Friday, November 27th, 2009
Q.
Hello Dr. Moore, I have a dental bridge for a missing teeth for past 18 years (front upper). In order to strenthen the present arraingment and for cosmetic looks I was considering an implant not available as option when I did the bridge. Is it a good idea to replace the missing tooth with implant and using this also to support the two teeth around it (originally used to make the bridge) ? Or what would be the best option. Thank you and Best Regards,
