How much would it cost to have a temp tooth fitted and a replica permanent one?
Thursday, March 3rd, 2011Hi andrew
Wrote before about not being able to Get the right shape and feel of the One tooth I had broke. Remember I Said I had a temporary tooth that I Like.t, and you said get a copy made of that one, I would do that only I dont Have that temporary one anymore. Is Possible that you would have a few temporay teeth I could have Fitted temporay, then finally get a Proper one copyed from the temp? How much do you charge for this Service I know it is a bit different Than your normal request

Should I replace my bridge with implants?
Thursday, March 3rd, 2011 Hi,
I have a failing bridge involving UR1,2 & 3. UR3 needs an extraction UrR1 a root canal. I have been advised by 2 dentists that I should have an implant on UR3 with a cantilever bridge to replace my missing 2, with a seperate crown on UR1( the Dr said a large implant here will easily hold 2 teeth.
Another clinic I visited recommended 2 implants on ur3 and 2. They wont do a cantilever bridge option they believe the physics/mechanics of it i.e forces of eating etc dont gaurantee it to last. I do have quite a heavy bite with some wear on my bottom teeth and this concerns me that it may cause too much pressure on cantilever option. Also would a larger than normal/necessary implant be needed to hold 2 teeth here? is it better to use 2 smaller ones to hold teeth separately. also I have a bridge on my left side involving same 3 teeth, would the two implants option make the other fitted bridge side look odd or not really an issue?. I really dont know what would be best, both clinics say their options would look better cosmetically. Help!!!
What is the difference between private and NHS false teeth?

I have cracked my bridge, can I have it glued or should I get implants?
Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 Hi
I have bridge that spans 7 teeth, front lower jaw. I have had this since the age of 19 and I am now 45. I had to have this bridge as 4 second teeth that did not appear, so had milk teeth until the age of 19. I have just cracked my bridge in the centre and its feels a little loose. Can this be “glued” or mended, or will I have to have implants?. Back when I was 19 I was able to get this on the NHS as it was deemed to be medical rather than cosmetic. Is this still a possibility?, if not can you give be a rough cost per implant, abutment and crown.
Many thanks
Jenny
