Hello Marcus. I have lost a front tooth and I’m only in my twenties. I can’t go out any more or see anyone apart from family. My dentist gave me a denture on a plate but there’s no way I can have it in. I’m sick as soon as it’s in my mouth. I’m a single mum with 2 children and I’m getting worse everyday. I was very bubbly and out going and working with loads of friends but now I’m a different person all because of one tooth. My dentist doesn’t provide implants or anything like that and I have got a family wedding coming up but I’m not going because of this. I can’t pay for an implant weekly because I can’t get credit anywhere. What should I do?

Is The Inman Aligner Available On The NHS If You’re Under 18? I Need Quick Orthodontic Treatment Over The Summer Holidays?

Hello Dr Patel. I have a simple question for you. Can you get an Inman Aligner on the NHS if you’re under 18? I wouldn’t be able to go to so many orthodontist appointments with school and exams so a quick treatment that would be mostly in the summer holiday would be ideal and my family aren’t able to pay for over £1000 for them. I’m really self-conscious about smiling and even talking because you can just see points of my teeth. Also can Inman Aligners push front teeth together and fix the left incisor overlapping with a front tooth? Thank you for getting in touch.

How And Where Can I Check If My Dentist Is Mac Veneer Certified At Their Laboratory?

Hello Dr Moore. How and where can I check if the dentist is Mac Veneer certified at their laboratory?

There are lots of dentist say they are Mac Veneer certified and cannot prove it.

Also, how do I know if they really order the real Mac Veneer from the MicroDental laboratory instead of going to a regular laboratory that they work with to get another kind of pressed ceramic veneer?

Please answer my question because doing cosmetic dental is a big investment and mostly safety.

I want a legitimate and honest answer from a dentist who cares for their patient.

Hi. My dentist has quoted me £2000 to have a bridge fitted for (2 teeth). This seems excessive. He told me it’s not available on the NHS. I have a gap that is awful and it affects my smile and my confidence. I currently have a false tooth plate with 2 teeth on, but the teeth keep breaking off the plate. I can’t afford this as I only work part-time, I am a carer for my husband. Could you please advise as it’s really getting me down.

I don’t want a Hollywood smile or brilliant white teeth, I just want them normal and to feel confident when I smile. Hi Dr Moore. Most of my back teeth have rotted away down to the gum line, I’m struggling to eat properly and have lost all my self confidence. I try not to speak to people so they don’t see what’s going on inside my mouth but I can’t afford to go to a dentist. I would need major work to fix them but am in a low paying job and can only just afford to pay my bills without paying thousands of pounds to a dentist. If I leave them how long will it be till I’m in serious trouble?

I had braces which my dentist removed one and a half year back. I didn’t wear the retainers as it hurt a lot. She completed my treatment without removing any of my teeth. After finishing my treatment I still felt that my upper teeth were still in front and my friends felt that too. What should I do to get my teeth straight? I don’t want braces again. Is there any other option which would have a reasonable cost since I have spent more than 40k on my treatment already?

Hi Dr Moore, I had a filling in one of my back teeth on left side upper set. But randomly the front of the tooth has gone so I can feel the filling and looking at it I can see the black filling. Quite gross! I wasn’t sure what can be done but I wanted to know if a crown or a white filling could be done and wondered how much it would cost. I also wanted to ask the cost of having white fillings replaced on another tooth, and also a deep clean and possibly whitening all over. I hope you can help.

Will Anyone Fix My Teeth For Free?

Hi Dr Patel, I am 26 yrs of age, I am looking for a little advice here it goes….My appearance was always very important to me until 2 yrs ago when I was attacked twice by an ex partner leaving me with damage to my jaw and teeth since the incident I have been told I will lose my own teeth as nerves were damaged it has got to the point that I am wishing they would fall out even if I am supplied with standard nhs ‘false teeth’ as my own now look dreadful. There is no possible way I could afford cosmetic dental work so I was wondering if there is any dentists that offer work done in exchange for before and after advertisement pictures. Should I be billed for crown replacement and will it be noticeable to people?

I have had a crown since I was 19 (now 34). The one done at 19yrs chipped a few years back and recently I opted to have it replaced.

Question #1 – Should be billed as a new crown or as a crown replacement?

Question #2 – This is the most important question for me. Should the lay person…or any person…be able to look at my smile and determine which tooth is the crown? Thereis some discoloration at the gum line which I understand. Though with this new crown in certain light the crown looks like a perfect match for color and translucency. However, in other lights it stands out. It appears whiter and also reflects light differently, as if it is more solid than my natural teeth. I don’t recall my previous crown doing this and I am wondering if my dentist gave me the best the industry has to offer. Also, the tooth as a bit of mobility …very little and only when I press on it with my lower jaw (crown is front center tooth). They put in a post a recently as well. Any advice would be appreciated. This dentist has been working on this for 5 months and never quite got it right, so recently they brought in the lab tech to color it and perm afix, but I am not sure it is the best it can be and I am not sure I should keep trusting this dentist.
