I want a lot of dental work done, can I pay in monthly instalments?

Tuesday, January 18th, 2011
Q.

On my upper teeth I have 3 caps or crowns and also 2 bridges. Also all of the other teeth have had fillings. Never had problems with my lower teeth. Would really like them all sorting. Can you get work done and pay in monthly payments? I know it will be expensive but couldn’t pay it in one payment. Thanks.

I have experienced pain since my permanent bridge was fitted. Why is this?

Thursday, January 13th, 2011
Q.

I had a bridge done, while I had a temporary I had no problems with pain. Since the day I had the permanent bridge put on I have pain, head ache, ear ache as soon as I have cold or hot foods. When the dentist was placing the permanent I never had anesthesia can this be trauma related? if so, is the dentit responsible for paying any additional treatment I maight need since it was negigence? I’ve been taking Ibiprofen 800 mil 3x a day today is my 3rd day & I don’t feel any better. Do I need a root canal? please advise, Thank you.

How can I have my tooth restored without damaging other teeth by way of grinding them down?

Thursday, January 13th, 2011
Q.

I have a missing near-front tooth, which was originally replaced with a bayonet fitting into the root canal. This has now gone and root removed. I feel reluctant to have the two teeth either side ground down as the means to provide anchor points. Do I have any other options without tampering with and ‘destroying its ‘neighbours’?

my dentures don’t fit well and make me feel sick – can I insist that my NHS dentist fit a bridge instead?

Wednesday, January 12th, 2011
Q.

Hi, I lost both my upper front teeth nearly two years ago and have had several removed from further back. I have had two dentures made, both make me feel physically sick and effect me everyday. They hurt constantly and I can’t wait to get home and take them out. Everyone I have spoken to do not have this problem.

I want to go back to my dentist and ask for a dental bridge, which has never been offered to me. I am only 45 and this seriously effects me professionally and personally. I receive NHS dentistry and wonder if I could insist on a bridge.

At my wits end, thank you so much for your help.

Why has my dentist put in a bridge along with my five implanted teeth?

Monday, January 10th, 2011
Q.

I have 5 implants and my doctor has put a bridge as long as my five implanted teeth? I feel it shouldn’t be like that and the teeth should be seperate from each other. I apprecite to have your opinion in this case.

Part of my tooth came out when I had a cap removed, I now have three options, which do I pick?

Wednesday, January 5th, 2011
Q.

I had one of the upper-jaw tooths root canal’ed.Post treatment, I used to’ve food lodgment problem surrounding the cavities adjoining the gums of treated tooth i.e: small slices of food teer into the gums and cavities. When I went to see a Dr, she removed the cap along with which the tooth part came out.

Dr. has suggested me 3 options :
1) Have an implant of metal by removing the root.
2) Have a bridge by cutting the left-adjacent natural tooth and removing the cap of right-adjacent root-canal’ed tooth.

Which one would be better option to prevent food lodgment? 1 or 2?

Would you suggest 3) a replacement of cap?
