Does Inman Aligner only move the front teeth?

Monday, March 15th, 2010
Q.
I previously wore braces, but have had some movement of my teeth leaving a space between molars that is driving me crazy. My dentist recommended the Inman aligner, but everything I read talks about moving the front teeth. Is it appropirate to use it to move rear teeth as well?,

I cannot wear dentures – what would be the best replacement option?

Monday, March 15th, 2010
Q.
I am 35 years old.I am embarrased to go out in public and have aged fast from loss of all my teeth.I have dentures but can not wear them, the lower will not stay down and the top ones gag me.I lost all my teeth about 3-4 years ago and since I have aged fast I look like in late 40’s or 50.I never had deep wrinkles in my face till I lost my teeth.I had my teeth pulled even when the doctor told me they did not need to be pulled.Sounds crazy right, but reason was I could not afford fillings and was on medicaid and it covered to pull them.I did it because I had to have surgery and the only way to have surgery was I had to have no bad teeth in my mouth or they would cancel. After getting them out and went to have my surgery, they did not even check my mouth, what a mistake I made and ruined my life since. The doctor told me they did not need to be pulled but done it anyways and charged medicaid for full mouth of teeth being pulled. Now my mouth has sunk in like an old lady and forehead deep lines and lines coming everywhere. Is there affordable surgery to fix all this and get mini implants??Does mini implants work and stop more bone jaw loss? How to get fuller lips and deep lines gone?I have no insurance only medicaid and it dont cover nothing. What insurance to get to help with cost for all this?I need help fast and so imbarrased to go anywhere.I hate myself for this and wish I never had my teeth pulled.I have no job but need help.I stay depressed over this. Please tell me what I should do is there any help for me ??I am in SC and everything is so high here. Please tell me if it was you what all would you do to get your looks back and teeth. Please reply ASAP.Thank you,

Would a bridge or implant be best for replacing missing front tooth?

Monday, March 15th, 2010
Q.
I had to have my top right second from front tooth removed yesterday due to an injury and my front right top tooth will need a crown. I have a temporary denture for the time being and my dentist has suggested a bridge for my missing tooth. Is this the best option or should I consider an implant. I am 37 and the rest of my teeth and gums are healthy. What would you recommend. Kind regards,

What alternative treatment is there to crowns and what prices?

Monday, March 15th, 2010
Q.
My top front teeth are very large and look out of place with the rest of my teeth, i have discussed this with my dentist and he has advised me to have crowns. I have had fixed braces when i was younger and it didnt give me the results i wanted as i have overcrowding and my teeth soon moved back to the way they were. Before i go ahead i would like to know if there are any other options for me and the cost for any treatments i consider. Thankyou.,

Will home teeth whitening help to improve colour of discoloured teeth?

Monday, March 15th, 2010
Q.
My old Dentist always commented that I have very strong, healthy teeth. The problem is they are very discolored. I unfortunately do not have insurance right now, as I am a recent college graduate unable to find employment. I do attribute many of my unemployment issues to my truly horrendous teeth. After extensive web research, I believe my teeth are discolored due to a mild/moderate case of fluorosis. All of my teeth are the same yellow/brownish color expect for the top front two. The top half of these two teeth never change in appearance. The bottom half, at times, change from yellow/brownish to pure white/ Though, there is a thin discolored strip running down (vertically) one of the teeth. I believe these two teeth change in appearance due to “dry mouth” or dehydration. It is especially noticeable after a night out at the bar, where drinking too much alcohol would cause the dehydration. If you agree with my assessment thus far, my question should be rather simple. Do you think attempting at home whitening, with a product such as crest whitestrips, would cause further damage? i.e. make things looks worse…Or do you think attempting to use this product may help lighten my overall smile a few shades at least? I don’t want to have to get veneers, as i am in no financial position to afford them. I cant find a job without a better smile, or afford a better smile without a job. Quite the Catch 22 I’d say! Thanks for you time and expertise, Sir.,
