Should I get teeth whitened before or after implant treatment?

Q. I have recently had a bone graft and am due to be having an implant fitted in the coming weeks (top, front tooth). I don’t currently have any other fillings but have never had a scale and polish or had my teeth whitened. Would you recommend having either or both done before the implant? Also, I have been quoted approximately £2500 for the implant – is that a fair price? Many thanks for any advice you can give.,
A. If you want the existing teeth and new tooth to look whiter then a scale and polish and whitening would be good before the final crown is fitted. We charge £2000 for an implant completed so it seems about right
