my Dentist told me that I am loosing one of my front tooth
Q. I am 42 yrs old and I recently went to have get cleaning done and my Dentist told me that I am loosing one of my front tooth, he said it cannot be saved it will eventually just fall out. I also have a little abrasion on the inside which feels very funny but is does not hurt.I keep putting my tongue on it. I am scared as I need to know what can be done at this point in time.
A. Well, unfortunately situations where teeth become mobile do occur. Eventually they are lost and a replacement option is required.
The three options for replacing a missing a tooth are 1. a denture, 2. a bridge 3. a dental implant.
The option for replacement depends on the cost and the surrounding teeth.
You should speak to your dentist and go through the options so that you have a plan in place for when the tooth is lost.
