I wish to have my teeth straight as normal.

Q. Hi Mate, Im currently with free NHS dentists. i am currently at the age of 17. My bottom teeth are stragih howevery they are slightly yellow. How ever my major concern is the top teeth. everything is sort of straight how ever my canines (3rd from each side -middle) are big to fit in their gap and are overlapping the other teeth on each side of them. . I wish to have my teeth straight as normal. However my rubbish NHS dentists say i will have to remove 2 on my teeth and that is what i wish not to do. Please can you provide me with more information and the prices for the type of treatment i may need. Cheers

A. Hi, many thanks for your enquiry, the best option would be to use a form of brace whether fixed or removable (invisalign) to create some space to then allow the canines to push into the correct position. the cost of this kind of treatment would be £3000 – £4000. hope this is helpful. i will be happy to recommend a dentist in your area.
