How to whiten teeth for fitted dentures?

Q. I recently had my old ,crumbling (due to eating disorders) teeth ,removed and dentures fitted….a ghastly experience ,but i thought worth it ,as i`d now finally be able to smile with confidence.. However ,the teeth i`ve been fitted with ,are no where near as white as those i`d been shown (as mine). My dentist then left ,and i went elsewhere for the fitting.. Is there anyway at all i can help to brighten my teeth..i`m not vain (ever!) ,but it`s really affected (and still is) ,the way i talk….and i still don`t feel much like smiling….help???Thank-you..

A. Hi many thanks for your enquiry, the problem you have is once a denture is processed, the tooth colour cant change. so if you want whiter teeth, you would need to have a new denture made. hope this is helpful.
