Do you provide Damon braces and what is the cost of that?

Are you in London, do you treat patients who have recently turned 18 and are their any discounts? And how much do braces cost generally /price range. Do you provide Damon braces and what is the cost of that? I understand it should be less for cases which are not severe. My NHS orthodontist said treatment cannot be provided as my case is not severe enough/ low IOTN

why do I have to pay more money on keeping my gap closed Is this the usual practice?

Hi, About a year ago I finished with Invisalign treatment that cost me $6400 for an overbite and gap on my upper teeth and a bit of crowding on the bottom teeth. After I finished my treatment, I had to pay an extra $100 dollars for bottom and top retainers. I have been wearing my retainers for a year now and I started realizing that my top gap keeps returning after I take off my retainer. This is extremely annoying after all that I have spent on Invisalign, so I called and asked my Dentist what I can do about my returning gap. He offered to place a lingual bonded retainer on my upper teeth for an extra $500 dollars. So my question is, why do I have to pay more money on keeping my gap closed when I paid such an exorbitant amount on Invisalign to have the problem taken care off. Is this the usual practice for all Dentists?

Is there any other type of dental plate other than plastic ones?

Following the removal of two front (upper) teeth, my dentist has informed me that I would not be considered for dental implants because I smoke. She has given me a totally fake looking dental plate which I cannot wear as my mouth feels full of plastic and I keep retching. She has also told me that there is no other type of dental plate. Is this correct?
