For whitening suggest whether Enlighten or bleach direct from the internet is the best

Hi, I am hoping that you might be able to help me. I am researching into getting my teeth whitened. I have looked at Enlighten which appeals to me, but I have also come across a website where you buy the bleach direct, and fit your own impressions etc, basically cutting out the middle man, the URL is brightsmiledirect.com and they provide a “true professional system-with professional strength 22% carbamide peroxide gel”. Please can you tell me why Enlighten would be better than this? Many thanks in advance

Is it better to whiten the teeth first and then have the crown done or it doesnt matter

Hi, I am having a porcelain and gold post crown done but I also want the teeth laser whitening treatment (each done at a different clinic). Is it better to whiten the teeth first and then have the crown done, or it doesn’t matter in which order I proceed? Also, shall I see the hygienist before I have the laser whitening done? (I have some staining on the back of my teeth). Thanks.

i just got a filling in my front tooth and now is extemely sensitive can it be fix in nhs?

Hi i have recently missed an appointment at my nhs dentist due to illness. as this was the second appointment i missed i have been removed from the practise. at my previous visit i had a filling in my front tooth, which was only slightly discoloured and was not painful at all. since havin this done my tooth is extemely sensitive and it hurts when i touch where the filling is. Shall i see if the same dentist can fix it for me at the practise where i cant go or shall i just find another nhs dentist. also i was wondering the best whitening process would be either professionally or from over the counter, my teeth are naturally yellow n this really gets me down. i wont even have my picture taken. can this be done on the nhs???

Hi I have had discoloured teeth all my life I am 40. I have had whitening treatments over the years,Opalescence, BriteSmile® and the latest Enlighten system which initially lightened my teeth to almost two shades from A2. I was initially really pleased with the result but now my teeth seem to be darkening again and are A1 in colour. I use the gel every month as instructed. I didn’t have an hour of intense bleaching as I have read in your guide and the bleach wasn’t as strong because my teeth had lightened really well by the take-home-gel.Is there anything else I can do? I know they look dark and I get depressed about the shade of my teeth. When people look at me in conversation they stare at my teeth instead of my eyes which makes me cry inside.

Hey DR.ANDREW,i am a teenager in the age of 18 and i have yellow tooth.i remained 4 the past 5 years not caring about my tooth with drinking pepsi regularly every day and also smoking from about 3 years also most of my food is fastfood.now my teeth are yellow and they look strange as they have different degrees of yellow and they r really really a very big probliem 2 me as i dont have self confidence and some frendz told me i should do teeth bleaching as different whitening products are of no use.plz i am in need of advice.thank u
