Q. Can teeth whitening work on non porcelain bridges and white filling used to close gaps between teeth? If not what can I do to lighten them before I get veneers done. Thanks
A. If you have any crown, bridge work or white fillings, you must know that the colour of these will not cahnge through whitening systems.
For the best aesthetic result, consult your dentist and discuss the options you have in replacing them. It might be worth having your whitening done first and then the fillings replcaed to match the new colour.
