Can you suggest a treatment that can move my teeth back into place as quickly as possible?

Monday, September 6th, 2010
Q.
Hi Dr Solanki, I am getting married in November and I had braces approx 4 years ago, but after having specifically requested from my dentist a wire to be attached to the back of my teeth, my dentist refused and told me a retainer was much more effective. Unfortunately I did not wear my retainer as I should have as I was in a customer facing job so my teeth have moved slightly – and mainly the front 2 which is really bothering me. I am wondering if there is any way of having a plate or similiar constructed to push the teeth back into place, it really is quite minor as when I put my retainer back it only has about 3mm gap from stopping it clicking back into place. Can you please suggest any methods that would assist before November other than veneers? Many thanks,

Will I have permanent stains on my teeth once my braces come off?

Monday, September 6th, 2010
Q.
I am 15 years old and have had my braces on for about 2 and a half years, my teeth have straightened out a lot since the start of the treatment but when i first had my braces, i drank a lot of fizzy drinks such as coke, i have stopped drinking them now but i am worried that when my braces come off, that there will be permanent stains inbedded in my teeth. I would like to know if this is a common issue and if there is a way of getting rid of or covering up the stains, Thankyou.,

What can be done about overlapping teeth?

Friday, September 3rd, 2010
Q.
My 23 year old daughter is slightly worried about her slightly overlapping front teeth. Should she see an Orhodentist ( as is being suggested ) or can teeth be removed to allow a little more space for the future ? Your comments would be appreciated.

If I had damon braces would the protrusion be noticeable?

Friday, September 3rd, 2010
Q.
Hi! I have moderate to severe crocked teeth at the top and bottom. I was told that with the Damon Q braces I would get straighten teeth and a wider smile. However, with the treatment my top teeth would be protruded between 4 and 6 millimetres.. It could be up to 6,7 milimiters. Would this protrusion be horrible and be very noticeable, when I have a straight face, when I smile or talk? Do you have photographs which shows different degrees of protrusions? Is it better to have crooked teeth or protruded teeth ? Thank you.,
