What brace options are available to me?

Friday, September 3rd, 2010
Q.
Hi I have a tooth at the top of my mouth that is at the back of my other teeth. I think I will need to have a tooth removed and a brace to move the teeth and push this tooth forward. Want brace options are available to me? I work at an office so would like to keep them as discrete as possible. Thanks for your help.,

I feel that I need braces, what do you think?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
Hello there, I am 15 years old and just over a year ago I went to my orthodontics and they said my teeth were at ‘2’ on a 1-10 scale; 1 being the best. However, my bottom teeth are really quite crooked. I would be happy to have braces but what do you suggest? Also, my two top front teeth arent straight at the bottom. They seem to go up and down in a hill type motion, if you know what I mean. What do you think would be best to make them more straight? And how old do you have to be to have your teeth whitened? Cheers,
,

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
I have quite crooked & crowded teeth. Both of my canine teeth do stick out & i would really love to have straight teeth. Would i be suitable to have Invisalign due to how cooked by two canine teeth are or is there a better alternative.,

How much would it cost to receive invisible braces?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
I had braces when I was younger, and now at 21 nearly 22 my over bite has got worse again. I am keen to get braces again, possibly invisible ones but I fear it may cost too much. I’m starting a PGCE next year, and won’t have much of an income. How much do you reckon they would cost? and for a reasonable over bite how long does it take ? Thanks,
,

How do I get my top teeth straightened at the age of 33?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
Dr. I am almost 33 years of age and have my two prominent incisors teeth protruding out and thus makes me feel less confident when i smile. I seriously want to correct the protrusions.I am however skeptical that at this age there is nothing that can be done to correct this abnormality- since the best time should have been my formative years -without encountering a problem..I must confess that i have strong teeth and never had any of my teeth removed for dental problem. My only problem is how to get the top teeth straightened at the age of 33. Is it possible? and how can i proceed and how much should i budget for roughly,

I need braces and not just for cosmetic reasons, what do you suggest?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
I am looking for a solution to the problems with my teeth and can’t decide the best route. When I was younger I was told I only needed braces for cosmetic reasons, then after I turned 18 I was told I would actually need them. I only have 2 crooked teeth that affect 4 teeth at the front of my mouth. could you advise me on the best/cost effective solution?,

Is there any sort of surgery that can be issued to fix my teeth?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010
Q.
I know this is long, but I will extremely appreciate your time to read it. I’m only sixteen years old so I don’t really know what I am doing, however I do know that I desperately want a nice smile. I would like to know: Is there any age range on this aspect of cosmetic surgery or is it ok that I am sixteen? Also through the NHS I have been told that they will not do any surgery to correct my teeth because it isn’t a health risk, they have offered the choice of braces, however I am starting collage in September and don’t particuarly want to arrive with a mouth full of metal, also i understand that braces will take upto 2 years for correction. I really don’t want this doing and no dentists will seem to help me understand my other options, I have; an overbite, gaps mainly between my front upper teeth and my bottom jaw is slightly further back. Is there any surgery I can have to correct all these matters rather than a brace? It has come to the point where I saving up my money for this, and I will pay any price to be able to laugh without covering my mouth, and talk to the floor to avoid people seeing my teeth. I know you probably get thousands of emails, but please will you write back with some advice, thank you.,
