i have a large over bite and my upper teeth are very lose. I tried to have my dentist put braces on them but was informed that due gum diseas it would not be a good idea to have braces because i would lose them anyway. Could I have those teeth removed a get a bridge instead,

Dear Dr Justin Glaister, Well, I do not know where to start. Firstly I have to get rid of my wisdom teeth (the pain is killing me), and then I have a problem with basicly all my other teeth. My teeth will start breaking bit by bit, starting near the root, and it hurts badly, I have about 10 teeth that is broken. I could not eat for the past few days and whenever I drink hot or cold drinks it hurts. My dentist in south africa said that it is a shortage off calsium. I had this problem since I was 14 (now 22). I live in Swanage, Dorset, England, BH191AN. Is there any advise you can give me in this matter? Regards,

Dr Rod… I,m a 22yr old female looking for a Dentist that could solve my big,est problem which Ive never been able to afford. recently i won a competition for a photo shoot in London so i went ahead & got them done, there was just 1 down fall in my photos witch they are really good, was my smile, i couldn’t smile as my teeth are crooked and dis-formed. So my teeth are basically ruining my chance to get into the Modeling Industry so…. I am an old ortho patient and i lost my retainers over 3 yrs ago..i was not a server ortho case..just closing up my gap on my upper teeth..i had the braces for six months and then a retainer. Well since the 3 yrs with out a retainer my teeth are starting to gap again and i want to know if there was something i could do to reclose my gaps with out having to go thru braces again and moreafforable the invisalign?,

I am a 48 year old female with loose front teeth caused by receding gums and being hit in the mouth due to horse riding accidents. I am very self conscious of my smile. Please could you tell me if I have any options other than Dentures and what sort of cost would be involved. I am desperate to have something done and soon because I am terrified they might fall out when on a date. Thank you very much.,

Hi, I have had dental veneers on my two front teeth for over 20 years and have developed a pain in the region for the past two months.My dentist did Xrays which showed nothing up.He does’nt want to remove the veneers and says the pain is not tooth related.I would like to know how easy it would be to remove the veneers to take a look at the teeth and whether a new set could be put back on.Also, if there is a stress fracture in one of the teeth, can this be fixed.I am extremely worried about this and am scared about how my own teeth now look under the veneers.I would appreciate your views.,
