Q.
About 5 years ago I had an accident that required restoration to my front top teeth. I have one missing incisor because of that accident as well that is now bridged. I had root canals on 4 teeth that are now starting to need retreats because of infection. I’ve also been told that there is some decay on one tooth that might require a reconstruction of the whole bridge area. I have a few questions, 1. should a root canal last longer than 5 years? 2. How does tooth decay happen on a root canaled/crowned tooth and is it preventable? 3. I was 25 when the accident happened and was never offered the implant option, should that be something I consider now? Thank you in advance for your answers.,
