My fixed retainer came off and my gap between my front teeth opened

Q.
As a child I wore a fixed retainer for 18 months to close a gap between my two front teeth, a fixed retainer was also placed on the back of the teeth to prevent it reopening in the future. However the retainer on the back came off, my dentist took it off completely as he said there was no point replacing it. Since the gap has opened slightly. I will not wear a fixed retainer again would there be any other way to close the gap and prevent it reopening? I have an appointment with an orthodontist but it is expensive and I really don’t want to go if the only option would be to wear a fixed retainer. Thanks

Now I am 50 I dont have white teeth they have discoloured

I was always proud of my ‘white’ teeth as a younger man. I am now 50 years old and my teeth have discoloured. I don\’t smoke or drink, and take very few curries. Therefore I fear it’s my age that has contributed to the colour of my teeth. For the first time in my life, I am very concerned about my teeth. How can my problem be rectified?

If i have a bridge on 3 implants will the new teeth need to be thicker than my own?

I have 6 missing front teeth. If I have 3 implants and then a bridge for the 6 teeth will the new teeth be the same thickness as my real teeth or will they have to be thicker to make the bridge strong enough.

can I use my invisalign for retainers they are very stained ?

I Am wearing invisalign to straighten my teeth. The bottom one are still not straight after about 9 months but the invisalign are finished for the bottom ones. I have been asked to keep my last set on invisalign in all the time for the next 3 months and then I will have to have a brace if they have not moved. The invisalign look very battered and stained although I have cleaned them regularly and I am thinking of stopping wearing them as my teeth look discoloured. Can you tell me if they are designed to be worn for this lenght of time. Thank you.
