My front teeth have no roots and are discolored teeth whitening or veneers?

Q. My top front teeth have not got root any more for which reason discoloring occured. also my teeth have been suggewsted braces. should I go for braces and whitening or veneers. I am clueless. please help.

A. Dear S,

Teeth Whitening will not give you the result that you want with the teeth that have been Root Treated. This is because Teeth Whitening works on whitening the enamel of your teeth, where as the discolouration on the Root treated teeth has happened internally. I would discuss with your dentist the option of internal whitening on these specific teeth although this does not always give a perfect result.

With Veneers you have can control what colour they are, i.e: matching the colour of the rest of you’re teeth. But Veneers are not suitable for everyone and without looking at you’re teeth I couldn’t advise you’re suitability. I suggest that you make an appointment to see a dentist to discuss you’re concerns in further detail.

Kind regards
