Can I have my old veneers replaced with new ones?

Q.
I have 12 veneers which where fitted many years ago and some have chipped. I would like to know if they can be replaced and would it cost more as old veneers need to be removed? Also, I have been asked to look at brazil crowns (not sure if right name )instead as they would last longer !
But as my veneers have lasted this long I would be happy to get them again as I’m now 47 years of age so if I get another 15 years from them theres nothing to say my teeth will still be as they are.
A.
In my own practice we do not charge any more because old veneers need to be removed first. The veneers would cost the same as if we were starting anew. The actual cost of the veneers would depend on what results you wanted, how complex your treatment would be and the difficulty of your treatment. I would suggest you come for a consultation. I have no idea what ‘brazil crowns’ are – there is likely to be no need to have crowns (which are more destructive to your teeth than veneers) and replacement veneers often suffice
