My Receding Gums And Old Veneers Have Exposed My Teeth, Can I Get A Filler Put In?

Friday, June 7th, 2013
Q.

I have veneers on my front teeth for about 15 years. My gums are receding and now you can see my natural teeth from my veneer to my gums. My dentist already checked my gums. It is from brushing to hard. My question is, can i get filler put in on the top of my veneers to the gums so you can’t see my natural teeth. I really don’t want to replace my veneers at this time. I just want the space gone when a smile real big, your can see my natural teeth where my gums are receding. The gums are only receding on the two front teeth where the veneers are. I go to my dentist regularly and she was the one who has done my veneers.

Can I have my old veneers replaced with new ones?

Thursday, November 15th, 2012
Q.

I have 12 veneers which where fitted many years ago and some have chipped. I would like to know if they can be replaced and would it cost more as old veneers need to be removed? Also, I have been asked to look at brazil crowns (not sure if right name )instead as they would last longer !
But as my veneers have lasted this long I would be happy to get them again as I’m now 47 years of age so if I get another 15 years from them theres nothing to say my teeth will still be as they are.
