Am i classed as having severe orthodontia and therefore able to get implants on NHS

Q. I currently have 6 teeth missing and am diabetic. Eating is a constant problem as I struggle to chew my food properly. I work full time but in a very poorly paid job and therefore cannot build up any savings. My partner is unemployed. Am I classed as having “severe orthodontia” and therefore able to get implants on NHS?

A. I would be surprised if you qualified given the information provided. You probably are a candidate for implants but not with NHS funds. if anywhere would provide them it would be a teaching dental hospital. Rob
