Can you advise me on what to do next as I am a very nervous patient?
Q. Hi, I have rotten teeth in my upper jaw and arranged an appointment for the first time in years to visit a dentist in Manchester. After the consultation I was given 3 options, 1) Remove all the rotten teeth and fit a denture. 2) fit a full mouth bridge that would be anchored to 1 tooth. 3) Implants. At the time I couldnt afford options 2 / 3, and was far to reluctant to get dentures as I’m only 30. I now have more money available for treatment, but the dentist wont see me again because I failed to turn-up for my second appointment (very bad, I know, but I felt I was being pushed into getting a treatment I didnt want). Could you advise me of what I should do next – I am still a very nervous patient and feel embarrased going to see a dentist who doesnt know my situation. Many Thanks,
A. I am happy to offer you a consultation, it is a big decission to make so you are right in not wanting to be pushed. Please feel free to contact the clinic for a consultaton.
