Hello Marcus. I’m 44 years old and I have some teeth missing, mainly the back teeth and the rest are so worn down I don’t want to smile. It’s really affecting my life and my confidence, my wife has even started to comment on them. I can’t even eat a packet of crisps without them hurting. What can I do and where do I start? I really hope you can help me. Thank you for your time in advance.

I Have Some Teeth Missing At The Back And The Rest Are Worn Down. What Can I Do And Where Do I Start?
Tuesday, October 14th, 2014My Teeth Have Grown Misaligned. Would It Be Possible For Me To Have Straighter Teeth?
Friday, October 10th, 2014Hi Dr. Mark Hughes!
If may I ask, I have some few question for you about teeth and my gums.
First things is, is it possible for me to have straighter teeth as mine have grown inward and some teeth have grown outward? I have this one tooth in front that is not aligned with the others which really bothers me when I smile, laugh or just talk and this tooth really stands out.
Plus the formation of my front teeth are outward. I just want to ask if my teeth could still be fixed?
Hoping for your reply.
Thanks in advance!
I Have Decided To Switch To Private Treatment To Align My Teeth. Do You Know Of Any Clinics That Could Help Us?
Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 Hi Mark. I’m 18 and have been wearing braces for the past three years now under the NHS. There hasn’t been much progress with their treatment which is why I’ve decided to opt to seek private treatment. I have my two lateral incisors missing at the top. I was wondering what kind of treatment options I would have and if so what clinics within the UK could provide this. I would like to sort this issue out as soon as possible. I hope to hear from you soon.
Thank you.
Good Afternoon! I Want 3 Teeth Extracted And My Teeth Straightened. Can I Get A Price For This?
Tuesday, October 7th, 2014Good afternoon! I wanted 3 of my teeth extracted as 2 are broken and 1 has grown behind a tooth which has caused me to be self conscious. I also wanted my teeth straightened with braces and I would like some advice on my canines at the top as I would like them to be symmetrical instead of taken out. I have had issues for many years and I wish to progress my lifestyle and push pass these problems. Would I be able to get a consultation and a price?
I Have A Narrow Smile And Large Front Teeth. Would Braces Help To Resolve This Problem?
Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 Hi Dr Hughes. I have really good size upper teeth but unfortunately when I smile or talk, they do not show up very well. My teeth start from high up in my gum. My front two teeth are bigger in size than the rest of my upper set of teeth. Because of this reason, I have such a narrow smile.
Can you please recommend me the best treatment for this particular problem? I do not want to end up with a life where I cannot smile. Are braces helpful or would any cosmetic surgery be required? Thanks and regards.
Over The Years I Have Lost Teeth Through Poor Oral Hygiene. Is There Anything That Can Be Done To Help Me?
Wednesday, September 24th, 2014Hi. I’m 28 years old. In my younger days I was never made to to clean and look after my teeth. It was only until my teens that I wanted too. But by then my teeth weren’t so great. Over the years I’ve lost teeth. And now my front teeth are rotting from the gums. I’m so ashamed and embarrassed. And I feel my confidence draining away. Not even being able to smile. Even holding a conversation is getting hard as I don’t want everyone to later be talking about my teeth. Is there anything you can do to help me and put a big happy shining smile on my face please? I would be so grateful.
Is There Any Way I Can Reverse The Gum Disease Process? I Have Bone Recession At The Back Of My Mouth.
Monday, July 28th, 2014 Hello Mark. I help you can help me, I have been told by my periodontist that I have the second stage of gum disease and need to have 6 molar teeth extracted, of which, one is loose. There is also bone recession at the back of my mouth.
I would like to know if there is any way that my teeth can be saved by closing the pockets or reattaching the gums to the teeth, or by putting some sort of antibacterial gel around the teeth to reverse the process. Is this possible? Thank you for your time.
Would My Dentist Be Able To Fit My Husband For A Root Canal When We Go To Portugal?
Friday, July 11th, 2014 Hello Dr Moore. Just a quick question. My husband and I are going to the Algarve for two weeks, he has been having problems with a tooth at the front, next to the two front teeth.
The dentist informs him it has a crack and needs two root canal treatments, they are unable to fit him in for a appointment before we leave.
Would he be able to get this treatment done while we are there and if so what sort of cost.
Thank you.
I’m Struggling To Find A Dentist Who Does Snap On Smiles In My Area. What Should I Do?
Thursday, July 10th, 2014Hello Andrew. I hope you can help me. I am looking for a dentist in Devon that does the snap on smile veneers. My sister had this done in America, but I am having difficulty finding one near me. Could you give me any information on the procedure? What’s the best way of finding out whether a dentist does the treatment I’m looking for. Any help or advice would give me a boost. Thank you.
How Suitable Are Laminate Veneers For Someone Suffering From Bruxism?
Wednesday, July 9th, 2014 Hi Dr Moore. I’d like to know some details about the veneer (laminate).
Do you know how suitable this type of veneer is for someone who grinds their teeth on a nightly basis?
I understand this type is very thin, just 0.3mm. Do you know of a more suitable veneer, or treatment for bruxism? It’s not for me but I have a friend who has this problem and they would like some information on it. Any information you could provide would indeed be helpful. Thank you very much!
