What would be the cost for cosmetic bonding?

Q. Hi my front teeth are perfectly together, however there is a small gap at the outer edge of them between the next teeth. I was wondering how much (roughly) would cosmetic bonding cost to make them look perfect and also how long does it roughly take? ( how many sessions?) It is something that has bothered me for ages and it affects my confidence so I am hoping to get it fixed. Also i have moved to Uxbridge area of Middlesex, so are there any dentists that you know of who could recommend to carry out the procedure, although if required i wouldn’t mind travelling into London. kind regards

A. Bonding takes one visit to do following a consultation. It would cost anything up to about £400 depending on the size. I do not know of anyone in this area but im sure if you search for a dentist in that area in google you will find many.

Kind regards

The price of cosmetic bonding varies massively I have had quotes from £80 per tooth to £400 per tooth i have ended up choosing a dentist in central london who charges £180 per cosmetic bonding tooth veneer and I am having 6 done. I think its best if you dont go for the cheapest otherwise your teeth will end up looking fake.

I have been trying to close my gap with a product called Orthofill( essentially they’re a bunch of rubber bands that should help to close the gap. It is somewhat working but not effectively. My gap at the moment is about 2- 2.5mm big, how long would it take to close my gap with braces and how much would this cost ? And also is there another way of closing my gap apart from the previous way that i have tried and apart from the braces, is there other solutions that i can do to close the gap?

  3. Alfredo says:

You can opt for cosmetic bonding which effectively can close gaps up to 3mm in width. Regards,

I’m about 1 1/2 years into invisalign treatment. The dentist needed to sand down as much of the bonding on the front teeth as he could because I plan on gettng veneers after the invisalign. The bonding made my teeth look thick. Now a few have started to chip. Can I get them fixed and still use my same aligners ? The reason I ask is I have the rest of my aligners in hand because I moved recently. I already paid for the full insvisalign treatment. I’m afraid if a different dentist needs to order new aligners I’ll have to start with the full fee again. These chips look awful. Thank you so much for your help,

Dear enquirer The new dentist can easily repair the bondings and make sure that the slithers still fit That way you can still use the aligners

My front 2 teeth are long the rest of my teeth is good , but i don’t know what to my 2 front teeth can you give me some advice please thank u

Hi Difficult to say without seeing you…are they long or are the adjacent teeth short and so a greater contrast? If they are long, they could be contoured. If the adjacent teeth are short they could be added to with either some composite bonding (adding tooth coloured filling material) or veneers. I would recommend you see a BACD cosmetic dentist.
