Q. Hi, I will start by saying, when i was pregnant two yrs ago my pregnancy took everything out of my teeth! They just started decaying very quickly and have continued to get extremley worse! Most of my teeth are falling apart, look rotten, break, and casue pain all the time. No matter what i do i feel i can not stop them from continuing to decay! So my question is what to do? implant?vaneers? Or??? I really could use some help, i would like to have a smile i can be proud of! thank you!
A. Firsly it is important to find out the cause of the decay by visiting a dentist. The main reasons for this are too much sugar in the diet or the patients oral hygiene. After this it would be important to stabilise the decay, so that it does not get worse. Once everything is healthy in the mouth then it can be discussed what options you have to improve the cosmetics of your teeth.
