Hi Mark. I would like some information from you. I’ve had fixed braces for about two years now but my orthodontist says I need two upper teeth taken out and I am incredibly scared of dentists. I heard about the Damon system but my parents are having none of it but I am NOT having those teeth out I was wondering what the price would be? I have an overbite according to one orthodontist but my jaw’s too far back according to another. I just want to know if I could be right for them. I’m Scared I’ll Lose All My Teeth If My Gum Disease Spreads. Can You Help?

Hi Dr Moore, I was just wondering if you could tell me is it true whether I have gum disease or not on my next to last tooth at the back and the top of my mouth is receding really badly and very painful. I’ve been told if I don’t get it out it will most probably spread along to my other teeth and I am really worried I don’t want to lose my teeth but really need to get it out it is so painful. Do you think it will spread to my other teeth? I hope you can give me some advice so I can fix this problem and hopefully prevent it from spreading. Thanks.

I Broke My Jaw A Few Years Back And Since Then My Top Teeth Have Started To Decay. How Can I Afford This Treatment?

Hi Dr Moore, I’m 25 years old and have some seriously bad teeth, to the point where I don’t smile! I did have my jaw broke a few years back and my teeth have got so much worse since then! I have been in a lot of pain in previous procedures and I don’t think I could go through it again! My main issue at the moment is a decaying surface on one of my top teeth which is very visible and it’s getting me down! Do you have any advice that can help me? Financially is there any thing you can help me with also? Thanks.

Hi Dr Moore, Do you know if there are any dentists in the London area that do affordable crowns or veneers. I hate my teeth and want to get cosmetic dentistry done. Also right in the middle of my bottom teeth I have a black dot. I’m wondering what it is as I have no pain in any of my teeth I have not been to the dentist for about 7 years as I have a phobia. My teeth are not in that bad condition only the left side with two teeth and the back have decay on them but the rest of my teeth are okay. Please help, I really want veneers or crowns on all my teeth. Thank you.

Hello Dr Hughes, I hope you can help me as I fear I have a dead front tooth as it is slightly discoloured and feels numb. Also my teeth are going see-through at the bottom. I am too scared to go to a dentist because I fear they will tell me I will lose all my teeth. Please can you tell me what to expect. I am 26 years old and I damaged my teeth with fizzy drinks and cigarettes but the dead tooth is from trauma. I have never had any dental complaints before but again I have not been to the dentist in over ten years.

My Husband Has Suffered Bad Dentistry And Has Lost Teeth As A Result. Would He Be A Suitable Candidate For Implants?

My husband is 55 and has had very bad experiences with dentists resulting over time in his teeth being removed, bad cosmetic dentistry etc. The result is that he has very few teeth of his own left and a variety of bad caps/coverings etc. Before that he had a lovely smile and is now very self conscious and is desperate to get his smile back, but is very nervous about going to the dentist and ashamed about the condition of his teeth. What treatments would be available to him? Would he be a suitable candidate for implants? If so what is the price range for this work?

Hey Dr Moore. I’m 20 years old and I have always worked but I recently got laid off and now I’m on jobseekers allowance, but I really need braces as my front teeth are not too bad but they hurt at times and it feels like they’re pushing each other out and it’s painful. So now they’re overlapping a little bit and I have been scared to go back to the dentist because the last time I had a really bad experience.  Just wanted some help and advice, Hope you can help me and offer any other suggestions. Hello Dr Gambroudes. I was wondering if you could give me any advice. I had a hole in my tooth and being terrified of the dentist I stupidly bought Denseal superior and placed the glass isomer compound in my tooth. Now I want to remove it and visit a dentist. Do you have any idea what will either loosen or dissolve it? I want it removed before I visit the dentist as I don’t want them to know I was so stupid to use it. Hello, I really have a fear of dentists and I really don’t want braces. I’ve been told that my teeth can be straightened using WaterLase, is this true and how much would it cost? I really don’t like smiling and want to feel confident when I’m around people and feel happy when smiling. Please help me. I’m very nervous about dentists because my last dentist cut my gums while doing a check-up and I have never been able to be confident about going back so I really don’t want braces due to the pain and how long it takes to straighten out my teeth.

I Have Not Visited The Dentist For Some Time As I Have An Overwhelming Fear. I Need My Cracked Teeth Fixed.

Hello Dr Moore. I have not visited a dentist in a long time, this has lead to an overwhelming fear which I find hard to overcome.

Due to this, my four wisdom teeth are broken in half and have been this way for some time, some of the rear teeth are cracked slightly and I have half a tooth on my left side.

I was working with the military
for a few years, and with a bad diet and lack of dental hygiene, this has unfortunately developed.

I have not visited a dentist due to fear – is it possible to seek help through the NHS for elective surgery to fix my teeth?
