I’m Scared I’ll Lose All My Teeth If My Gum Disease Spreads. Can You Help?

Hi Dr Moore, I was just wondering if you could tell me is it true whether I have gum disease or not on my next to last tooth at the back and the top of my mouth is receding really badly and very painful. I’ve been told if I don’t get it out it will most probably spread along to my other teeth and I am really worried I don’t want to lose my teeth but really need to get it out it is so painful. Do you think it will spread to my other teeth? I hope you can give me some advice so I can fix this problem and hopefully prevent it from spreading. Thanks.

Thank you for contacting me regarding this issue. It sounds like it could be gum disease based on what you’ve provided me with but it is very difficult to assess you without a consultation.
