I Have Not Been To The Dentist For 7 Years As I Have A Phobia, But I Now Really Want To Know Where I Can Get Affordable Veneers?

Hi Dr Moore, Do you know if there are any dentists in the London area that do affordable crowns or veneers. I hate my teeth and want to get cosmetic dentistry done. Also right in the middle of my bottom teeth I have a black dot. I’m wondering what it is as I have no pain in any of my teeth I have not been to the dentist for about 7 years as I have a phobia. My teeth are not in that bad condition only the left side with two teeth and the back have decay on them but the rest of my teeth are okay. Please help, I really want veneers or crowns on all my teeth. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for getting in touch and I hope I can help. It depends what you call affordable as costs vary considerably. You have to pay for quality and cosmetic dentistry is no different. I suggest you search around the web and check the prices of each. The black dot you mention is most likely decay. Try and find a dental phobia dentist that you feel comfortable with. This site has most of the information you may need to familiarise yourself with what the procedures may involve. If you can’t afford the prices, at least you can have a goal to save up toward.
