I’m Visiting London And My Crown Has Broken. Should I Wait I Go Back Home Or Fix It Now?

Hello Mark. I hope you can help me out. I’m visiting London for two weeks, but my crown on my front tooth has just cracked in half. I would like to fix it when I am back in the states, but I don’t want to risk it falling off or breaking more at the moment. Is there something I can do temporarily? Or will I need to replace the crown now, while I’m residing in London?

I would like to know my options before I have to make a decision so any help you could provide me with would be useful.

Do I Need Braces To Rectify My Jaw Alignment Problem Or Some Other Treatment?

Hello Dr Moore. I hope that you can give me a helpful answer to my problem. Recently, I noticed that my lower jaw set are slightly shifting and coming in front of my top teeth. It irritates me while I’m eating or even smiling. Do I need to have braces so that the problem can be rectified or is it my jaw that is moving and not the teeth? I’m really concerned about the problem as I want it to be fixed soon. Please make me aware of the rectifying method. Is that is it my jaw that is moving? Or is it my teeth? Can it be treated, right? I Had An Apicoectomy Last Week. Will My Gums Grow Back And How Long Will It Take To Heal?

Hello Dr Hughes. I had an attempted apicoectomy last week. He cut a lot of my gum to expose tooth number 19. Because of an infection the Dr felt he did not want to take any more bone away and I should go the implant route. He closed me up. My gums along the tooth and teeth 20 21 22 are very exposed and sore. I feel as if the roots are partially exposed like I had significant recession. Will this gum grow back and what should I do if it doesn’t? I am in quite a bit of pain at the moment. Could you help me and tell me what I should do. Thank you.

Hello Andrew, I’m 20 years old and have awful teeth. They are broken, chipped badly and I have teeth missing I am really self concious about smiling, laughing and it’s really affecting my social life as I don’t like to leave the house. I am also on a budget as I have 2 young children. I really want my teeth sorting out so I can gain the self esteem and confidence a young 20 year old should have. After A Gum Infection My Dentist Said My Tooth Has Five More Years Left. What Should I Do?

Dear Mark. I had a root canal on my upper front tooth. This tooth had a plastic material fitted as it was half broken 10 years ago. How long do I have to wait before I can have a porcelain crown fitted on the tooth, as the gum has a visible gap and there is some significant aesthetic damage? Also the dentist left me with a gum infection to deal with and said my tooth has five more years and that I would need an implant. What is the best thing to do as I am a young and attractive and this is getting me down?

Hi Mark. My son is 5 years old and is not registered with a dentist as we have not long recently moved. And the past couple of days he has been complaining/crying with toothache. I have been giving him children’s paracetamol but it seems to be getting worse. His school looked in his mouth and said his tooth was growing in the back but when I’ve looked in his mouth and the tooth is a bit black and it looks like it’s got a hole in. Most Of My Teeth Fell Out Through Smoking. Is There Any Way I Could Get The 4 In A Day Treatment Through The NHS?

Hello Dr Moore. I used to smoke. I stopped around 7 years ago but most of my teeth have fallen out due to it. I went by my local NHS dentist and he extracted a few teeth, primarily the ones which had decayed. He suggested that I should try dentures, but I am really struggling with dentures and I cannot eat or talk with it. I have had them changed 4 times now. And now my back teeth are now falling out as well. Was looking into the 4 in a day procedure. Can my dentist recommend that on NHS?

Hi Mark. I hope you can help me with a problem I have. I’m curious to know if I can wear braces even if I have an incomplete set of teeth. In my upper part I don’t have a second molar and a first premolar and in lower part I don’t have my second molar? My teeth seem to be separating from each other. I want to know because I’m set to visit my dentist and I want to know if it’s worth asking for braces. I just need to know first so that if it’s impossible I will not go to my dentist. I Want Other Options Than Braces To Fix My Overlapping Teeth. Do I Need Cosmetic Treatment?

Hi Andrew. My upper set of teeth are showing too much when I smile and I think they look big too. My lower set of teeth is overlapping. I don’t want to use braces. I also have a little problem when I close my lips because of my teeth. I lack confidence while smiling. One dentist suggested to me that I could cap on my lower 6 so that they look straight. I am a little confused. I am 23 years old. Is cosmetic dentistry a better option for me? Could you tell me how much any potential treatment would cost? Thank you in advance for your reply.
