i have a large gap between my front two teeth is it good to have a brace or get a cosmetic surgery done?

Q. Hi i have a large gap between my front two teeth its a natural gap i wanted know if a brace would help it to close or some sort of cosmetic surgery would be better for me i live in the staffordshire area and would like to know the costs of the treatments and if i could get help with the costs as i am on benefits. thankyou

A. A natural gap suggests a healthy gap. The NHS will not help financially to alter the space. The best option for you would need a clinical exam but costs are very variable. the cheapest would be to aesthetic bonding of tooth colured filling to change the shape of the teeth. At the upper end some orthodontics , maybe clearstep or invisalign so you dont see the appliances, and veneers across the upper front 6-10 teeth.
Hope this helps
