Would implants be a better option than re-crowning?

Q. Hi i broke my 2 front teeth as a teenager and have had the same Crowns ever since (prob 15 years now!) A couple of years later i had to have the tooth next to my front teeth crowned as i chipped this tooth also. Now there are gaps between my crowns and my gums which leave my gum line looking black. The front 2 caps are not straight and due to the shape of my gums one appears longer than the other and protrudes more. What are my options as i am desperate to improve their appearance? Would implants be a better option than recrowning as would these then appear straight and the same size? Or would i have to have these Crowed again… all i want is a straight healthy whiter looking smile without the black line around the tops of my gums. WHat rough cost would be needed for treatment?,
A. I would sound like just replacing the crowns would be sufficient to get rid of the black line and straighten the teeth, Good quality porcelain crowns start from £500.
