Would I Replace My Caps With A Bridge Attached Or Is There Another Treatment You Would Suggest?

Q.
Hi, my two front teeth are capped and discoloured and the tooth to the direct left is also a cap but will be removed as it fractured, meaning I will need a denture there. My dentist has suggested replacing the caps and having a bridge fixed to my teeth for the tooth I will lose, which will improve appearance. The cost is £1800. My question is, would that be the best treatment and would it be better to get the tooth on the right of front teeth done also as it’s discoloured too, if so what would you see as the best option for price? Thank you.
A.
Hello. It is likely that the bridge suggested would incorporate the other tooth you mentioned, and probably another one to the other side? Please ask your dentist to confirm that. Another option would be a replacement with a dental implant-retained crown. I would advise you to explore every option available before committing to one. Have a second opinion if you wish. Treatment costs will vary depending on quality but there are always financing options to consider which may allow you to choose the best quality treatment without compromise?

Best wishes, Mark.
