Q. Hello there, Sorry to bother you but I have two quick questions if you could answer them please? I have previously had fixed braces (both) when I was younger, my bottom brace only stayed on for 4 weeks instead of 6 months as planned. I then had them both removed (after having top on for 1 1/5yrs prior to bottom) and wore the retainer 24 hrs a day for the year. I then went for the yearly check up point and my retainer was taken off of me. My teeth went wonky within months, and I have been too scared to go back. I get really upset about my teeth and suffered alot with braces to still have wonky teeth. I am 19 and in full time education and have swapped dentist now. My wisdom teeth have been coming through for a year and causing me grief, will they fit braces with the wisdom teeth growing through and are they likely to get funded by the NHS?
