What type of veneers would you recommend?

Q.
i need veneers to cover tetraccyline staining.there are so many options . i would obviously like the most realistic and stain proof.I prefer the no prep versions.everything is not rolled into one type .i,m leaning towards durathin and ultrasmile varietieswhich are not mentioned on this site.are these stain proof and whats the cost. it seems the more i read the more frustrated i become with the choice of veneer to make.thank you for your help.

It can be confusing with so many options and often confusing marketing too.

The ‘no-prep’ or micro-prep veneers can in some cases be the best choice, but with tetracycline staining, especially if it’s heavy, there needs to be a significant amount of tooth preparation in order for the veneer to be thick enough to mask out the colour of the staining and to also look real.

Your best bet is to have a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dentist to let them have a look and to give you the most accurate and best advice.

Hope that helps?
