Q. Good evening Dr Patel, I would like to have my teeth whitened. Unfortunately I have already 2 crowns – right at the front – the big 2 teeth which means I will need to have the teeth whitened and then also will need to swap for new, colour- matching crowns. Now, one of my friends has had hers done by our dentists; they would create the trays (cost effective for future re-use) and I will wear those at home for 2 – 3 weeks or so. She had hers done there too but to me the teeth look little white-blu-ish colour, not as bright and shiny as my other’s friend’s who has had a laser whitening. Not sure if it’s their teeth or if the colour outcome can be different from trays/laser systems? so I am not sure where to have it done, whether to go for the laser or the home bleeching with the trays from my dentist; there is also such a choice of systems and companies on website so it’s hard to find what’s best; just want healthy looking, bright and shiny teeth 🙂 thanks a lot for your answer, very appreciated, Tracy,
