What is the reason for crown coming loose repetitively?

Q. Hi Kalpesh just want to ask a few questions if possible. Firstly, what are the few reasons why crowns keep getting loose and what i have been told by my dentist to result into an tooth implant. and how much does an implant cost. By having a tooth implant what are the disadvantages and advantages? Look forward to your reply. Many thanks Amit Joshi,
A. Hi 1. crowns can come loose becaues the cement is dissolving, the foundations are weak, fracture, etc. 2.Implant costs from £1800 upwards. It is very important to have a good quality implant and crown, as this will last longer and look cosmetically better. The advantage of having an implant is it is a new fixed tooth. Cant think of any disadvantages.

Mandy Says :

I have a tooth implant on my upper molar jaw, the crown has came off 7 times since the crown cemented in 6 months ago. my dentist tried to use permanent glue but it still came off just now. he suggested me to have it screwed so it will be permanently fix. in case it came off once more, which it did tonight, the implant cost me £2200. Is my case quite common, if my dentist decided to have the crown screwed in, what willl be the disadvantage? how long should an implant last? should the dentist responsible for any further treatment if needed? thanks for your help,
