What are the optiond for me keeping my teeth looking white and real?

Q. I had an accident when I was a teenager and after 23 one of my front teeth started to turn grey. I ended up getting both my top front teeth root canals and bleached from the inside. It’s been about 5 years since I’ve had that done and one tooth is starting to look lightly grey again. I don’t have crowns and I find my dentists aren’t clear on my options and the risks. I want to keep my teeth looking white and real, is this realistic? What are my options!?,
A. You could try to rebleach it again if you don’t want to have the teeth crowned or veneered.

Patricia Says :

My four front top teeth were capped about four years ago. I noticed in the first week that they had vertical lines on each of the teeth which were slightly lighter than the porcelain itself. i queried this with my dentist who said it was nothing to worry about. Since then my capped teeth have turned grey and are a totaly different colour and dont match the teeth next to them or below – so I asked for replacements as I did not set out with grey teeth and did not expect the colour to change. My dentist said this is a cosmetic request and I will have to pay to replace with new caps. I am struggling with this as the sheer trauma of going through it all again as well as the cost is now affecting my sleep as I am agonising about it all the time. Other capped teeth I have, have not changed colour, so I dont understnd what has happened. Is this normal and should everyone expect this to happen to them ?
