What are the different types of implants?
Q. Dear Dr. Moore, I am a Dental Assisting student doing a project on dental implants and I was wondering about the different types/varieties of dental implants. Thanks for your help!,
A. Root form implants are the ones most commonly used. A good website to look at for information would be the Nobel Biocare site or the Dentsply Friadent website. These should give you an overview of the technology behind their products.
