I had an accident 2 years ago where i chipped my front tooth, my denist fixed the tooth but it now has a brown line through the middle of it and the top part looks grey in colour, it makes me really unhappy as everytime i smile that is all you can see. I also have quite a few fillings which i would like of possible to be changed to white ones?
I am looking to see how much this would cost me to have done.
Thank you

A filling I had a long time ago is now a different shade, can the filling be resurfaced?
Wednesday, January 12th, 2011Hey!! First of all, thanks for reading this! Now, my question: I have a filling on one of my front teeth that I got some years back, but now my teeth are whiter and the filling is…well, a different shade. I know there is a thing called resurfacing the filling, but I was wondering if there is another way to whiten it. Maybe some special whitening technique…? I look forward to hearing from you!!

What treatments could correct silver fillings and overcrowding?
Thursday, December 2nd, 2010I have always had a fear of going to the dentist and am a nervous patient unfortunately I have been “unlucky” with my teeth and have several fillings and crowns and I am only 27! I am concerned that my teeth will continue to get worse and I will loose all my teeth, I am unsure why I have worse teeth than everyone else I know and if there is anything I can do other than brush and floss to improve the health of them? I am very self conscious of my smile as I have silver fillings which look black and overcrowding at the font, what procedures would you suggest to give me a better smile?

Do you know of any cases where white fillings have caused OFG?
Monday, October 4th, 2010After many years of neglecting my teeth I went back to a dentist and needed some filling work and extractions. After attending the dentist for a number of months I noticed that I was getting a swelling [non tender] around the mouth and lower face. This was eventually diagnosed as OFG [ora-facial granularmytosis]. I still suffer from this and, whilst not painful, iit is unsightly. Do you know of any cases/instances where having white fillings fitted kicked off a condition such as this? I don’t seem to be able to get to the bottom of the cause and wondered if it might be the white filling material in the mouth? Many thanks,,
