Saturday, April 4th, 2009
Q.
Hello, I have slightly protruding top front teeth. I would like to know if I could get veneers or crowns to make them look straight. I have tried orthodontics last year and they was only partially straightened and already they are starting to go back to there orinal position. Thankyou for any help on this matter

Will I have to pay to replace the veneers that I got from NHS

Saturday, April 4th, 2009
Q.
I had veneers fitted to my front 6 top teeth when i was about 15 as i have small teeth and discolouration due to high flouride levels (i believe). This was done free on the NHS at the advice of my dentist. I am now nearly 29 and am starting to think about what happens when they need replacing. My main concern is: will i have to pay? I hear about people paying between £250 and £1,000 per veneer and start to panic! Help!

I have wonky front teeth can i have veneers to correct this

Saturday, April 4th, 2009
Q.
Hi there I am a model and my front teeth are wonky! I have one tooth that overlaps the other due to having too many teeth! I had 4 removed when I was younger. I dread to think what i would look like if that hadnt been done! But I need to get this sorted. Obviously a brace would not look good in shoots even if it was the fast 12 wk one. So I was thinking of veneers. Could I get away with just one or two? I wish I had train tracks when I was 12!! I need this sorted as its affecting my career but dont want to spend thousands. Just hundreds!

Can a 70 year olds teeth be too white?

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
Can an older (almost 70years) have teeth that are too white? My husband is needing a bridge on his lower front teeth and caps on 4 of his upper teeth (all but his canines.) He has whitened his teeth, but they are still quite yellow. Should we use a veneer on his canines and make them whiter? (I realize without seeing the color, you will only be giving me a general opinion.) My primary question is: Can you go too white on a 70 year old. Does it just look unnatural? Thank you for your time in answering this question.

I still don’t like the shape and size of the crowns what are my options

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
Hi, When I was 20 I had crowns fitted to my two front upper teeth following an accident. The whole process was very traumatic and took many many months as I was under the care of a London Teaching Hospital. It was in the 1960’s and I am now 60 yrs old. I have never been happy with the look and think the crowns are too big. I would like a better look and smile ( though not hollywood dazzling!). My own local dentist suggested whitening which I had done 2 years ago- but I still don’t like the shape and size of the crowns. Could I achieve a better effect quickly and easily with replacement crowns? I wanted veneers but I understand they don’t work if teeth have been replaced by crowns already. thanks

I would like to have cosmetic dentistry what do you think of lumineers

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
I have decided that I would like to have cosmetic dentistry as I would like to create a fuller smile. I have nice teeth but I have always felt that they could be a little bigger and more symetrical. Lumineers have been recommended to me. What do you think of these? Can you recommend a practice that offers this service but also, an establishment that offers a service whereby I will get to see the end result before I committ so that changes can be made? I know that some places offer this service with venneers? I live in Hertfordshire but am willing to travel. Many thanks,
