I would like to have cosmetic dentistry what do you think of lumineers

Q. I have decided that I would like to have cosmetic dentistry as I would like to create a fuller smile. I have nice teeth but I have always felt that they could be a little bigger and more symetrical. Lumineers have been recommended to me. What do you think of these? Can you recommend a practice that offers this service but also, an establishment that offers a service whereby I will get to see the end result before I committ so that changes can be made? I know that some places offer this service with venneers? I live in Hertfordshire but am willing to travel. Many thanks,

A. Hi
We often do what is known as a diagnostic preview, this enables the patient to see what the final result will look like before they committ to treatment. In some cases we can use white filling bonded to the teeth to give the patient a trial run of the final veneers. This is possible when the teeth need building out to create a fuller smile.
Lumineers are a brand name for thin veneers, as a general rule any type of porcelain can be used in these situations so you’re not limited to only one type, as different types of porcelain can be used to create the best possible result.

Let me know if our practice can help

Kind regards Andrew
