How do I go about getting the right teeth line up?

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I used to have braces and I was given retainers to wear but over time I stopped wearing them. Now when I bite down, only one side of teeth line up and the other side doesn’t line up correctly. How could I go about fixing this and would it be expensive?,

Is the surgery that i need available on the NHS?

Monday, March 22nd, 2010
Q.
Q. I am 21 years old. About 6 years ago I was under orthodontic treatment. I was offered to have surgery when I was roughly 15 to correct my jaw alignment. The options were to bring my upper jaw forward and my lower jaw back Aswell as have braces. At the time I turned down the surgery as I felt it was too much of a major operation although my confidence was very low. Now I have re considered having the surgery as my self confidence is even worse, causing paranoia and my self esteem is at its lowest. Alongside this I believe the gap between my teeth has increased. I am 21 and would like to know if i can get this surgery done on the NHS as I can’t afford private treatment. Many Thanks,,

Is there any surgery available to have the gaps in my front teeth closed?

Monday, March 22nd, 2010
Q.
I have perfectly healthy teeth, but was always told by dentists that my top layer would gradually close and have less gaps, they are not huge gaps but enough to be noticed and get me down. I am now nearly 22 and feel these gaps will now never close. Is there any surgery i can get to close these front 4 top teeth, or what is the best option? :),

What treatment can i get for recurring overbite?

Thursday, March 18th, 2010
Q.
I had braces, wich straightened my teeth & fixed overbite/buck teeth, when I was 13-15yrs. I am now 32, and my top-front teeth are slowing looking buck-tooth again ; also by bottom jaw as moved back (just like before I got braces) so that it looks like my chin is disappearing. What are my options for correcting these issue, and what is the approximate cost?,

My 17 1/2 year old daughters adult eye teeth were never formed. She is currently having orthodontic work to make spaces for maryland bridges. But we are now seriously considering implants. Is she too young and will there be enough bone? Thank you Regards Mrs E Pearce,

My two front teeth have moved forward, is this because of the new lingual brace?

Thursday, March 18th, 2010
Q.
Hi, I had an upper lingual brace fitted two weeks ago and had extractions before as my teeth are overcrowded. However, it seems as though one of my front two teeth has moved further forward! is this possible or am I just being paranoid? And how long does it generally take for the gap to close? Would really appreiciate a reply – many thanks,
