Can I have my dental veneers replaced on the NHS?

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010
Q.
I have had veneers since I was 15 yrs old as I had a gap between my two front teeth. Dentist thought veneers would be solution. I got them done free on NHS. I have had veneers replaced since then as I am now 33 yrs old – these were also done for free on the NHS. I have now had these replacement veneers for 7 yrs but one is so thin that it has a slight chip in it and it has moved forward and is not inline with rest of teeth. I am now looking for this to be replaced – would I have to pay for this private or could I get this done again free on the NHS??,

Can the NHS offer me any financial help for implants?

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010
Q.
hi, i went to my dentist yesterday and although i have always known i didnt realise i need the treatment done so soon. im 20 years old and have 5 baby teeth remaining and have no adult teeth to replace them. i have 3 in a row on my upper left side, 1 on my bottom right and 1 on my upper right. they have told me implants will be the best bet for me. i have a problem however i dont have enough bone to insert the screws due to a sinus, my dentist can sort this and put in a fake bone. altogether this treatment for 3 teeth on my right upper side with the surgry for my sinus is goinmg to cos £8000 is there any finacial help i can get from the nhs? as im really desperate?,

Will I have to go private to get braces?

Tuesday, March 16th, 2010
Q.
hi there im 20 yrs old and i have a gap between my two front teeth on the top row. and either side i have two teeth missing as i never got my second teeth, they never came thru. and have been told id have to pay 4 a brace privatley. is there no way id be able to pay it off in instalments as i think a brace is very exspensive, and i do not work i am a full time mum. i think i should be able to have it on the nhs as its not my fault about my teeth.,
