My 10 yr old has chipped off the wing bites of his front teeth

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009
Q.
My 10 year old fell and chipped off the wing bites of his front two teeth. The dentist has repaired them using bonding but he is worried when eating and won’t bite with them because he heard the dentist advising me about being careful when eating hard food. Is Lumineers an option for children? Thank you.

I was considering getting Lumineers

Monday, December 1st, 2008
Q.
Hi I was considering getting Lumineers as I feel really that I lack confidence due to the current condition of my teeth. Looking on the internet, I couldn’t find any information on the cost of this or where I could get it done. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. Is it really expensive? Because I am 18 years old and am going to University next year, I’m not sure I could afford really expensive treatment, but I really want something to change the way my teeth look, especially my bottom ones which are really ground down and mishaped and jaggy, they are all also quite discoloured and yellow-ish. Also in a unrelated question, I have had braces in the last year, which have since been taken off. The orthodontist applied a metal bar like thing on the back of my top teeth to keep them from separating , and said that I dont need to go back to him , and that the bar will come off itself. Is this true and how long does it take, as I think it is causing a metallic taste in my mouth. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a bridge on my upper front teeth

Monday, November 10th, 2008
Q.
I have a bridge on my upper front teeth. It is not as white as my natural teeth. Would Lumineers be a viable fix for this problem? If so, would the cost be less than a new, whiter bridge? Thanks.

Please could you advise me on the colours of Lumineer

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008
Q.
Please could you advise me on the colours of Lumineer veneers? I understand that B1 is the lightest natural white. Are there any other colours which are lighter? Is there a most popular shade? Many thanks

I have had a crown on my front incisor

Sunday, October 19th, 2008
Q.
I have had a crown on my front incisor for about 10 years now and it hase been replaced once before, however, it has now become loose and my new dentist thinks there may be a hairline fracture which means I will need a bridge. Your website indicates that the teeth on either side will need to be crowned to enable the bridge to be fitted and therefore I would like to take advantage had have lumineers fitted to the front 6 or 8. My dentist has advised that I would need the root removed first. Can you advise as to all my options and as I am an nhs patient can my dentist still do cosmetic work, provided i pay of course? Many thanks

are veneers cheaper than lumineers

Monday, September 29th, 2008
Q.
Hi Justin, I was your patient at Bourne End before I moved away. I would like veneers on my teeth now. My teeth are still good, it’s for the look. I like the idea of the Lumineers, how much would this cost please for 8 or 10 teeth. Are regular veneers much cheaper? Many thanks.
