Any chance the invisalign would work for me or should I just use the lingual braces

Friday, April 3rd, 2009
Q.
I have consulted a dentist and I want to know if invisalign would work for me. The dentist said I have both for aesthetic and functional problems. A clinical examination revealed a type of dental malocclusion cl with the DDM. On the dental plane, the teeth has a median diastema of up to 7 mm and a strong proalveolie max. A man of diastemes distal incisors and proalveolie; on strong vertical gap. On a cephalo plane there is a maxillary proalveolie which is detected on a convex profile. I am trying to translate from french. I am 30years and have sucked my two middle fingers for as long as I can remember. Any chance the invisalign would work for me or should I just use the lingual braces.

Q.
Hi, I have a crown on one of my front teeth anc a cap on the other (they were knocked out when I was about 14). I’m 28 now. Other than that my teeth are in relatively good condition (no fillings, some gum recession). Am I suitable for Invisalign because of the crown? Many thanks,

I am very nervous, what are my options to close the gap in my teeth

Q.
Hello, I have the first two molars, on lower jaw, taken out by dentist when I was 13yrs of age,(no room for teeth he said) This was very bad experience and ended in hospital. Now unfortunatly I have just found out I have to have 3rd molar taken out, bottom right. I trust my dentist. She has given me choice of ,living with large gap, a denture or inplant. I dont realy want huge gap as allready a bit consoius of exsisting one. But I am very nervous of the surgery required for inplant as well as high cost. Does it hurt as the drilling into jaw sounds quiet bad. I dont want to be given another bad experience. I am 42 and dont want an awful looking mouth

I have crooked front teeth I’m considering invisalign or veneers

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009
Q.
Hi there I have crooked front teeth – one sticks out and is slightly turned and the other is in towards my mouth, making the sticking out tooth look worse. I’m considering invisalign (I’m early 40’s and have a job where I meet lots of people) or veneers. I am convinced that my teeth are still moving as the they have got much worse over the years. If I have veneers can my teeth still move and if so, how does the affect the veneer.

Hi, One of my front teeth is twisted out of position so that from the side, it looks like it is poking out and a 2mm gap can be seen. From the front no gap can be seen. The other teeth are relatively straight. What options do you think I have for straightening this one tooth? I don’t want braces as I am a teacher. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I have a severe overbite where my top teeth are rubbing the base of my gums when nocturnal grinding occurs. This has exposed my roots on the bottom teeth. I also have occasional tmj ear pain. Will invisaline (sp?) braces work for me? My teeth are also transparent and I was considering lumineers only after my bite is corrected of course.

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009
Q.
I have overcrowding on my top teeth and was recommended Invisalign. I have researched other treatments and quite like the idea of Inman Aligners because they are on for less time. Can you inform me if these would work for overcrowding and where in Glasgow I would be provided with this treatment. Thanks for your help
