Treatment for missing teeth that are causing me misery?

Thursday, January 14th, 2010
Q.
Hi there, I am 21 years old and had braces when I was around 19. I used to live in Spain and had them put on and checked rugularly when I lived there. After about 9 months of having them on I moved back to London and therefore didnt really complete the procedure as its was hard getting to Spain because of work etc. I had 2 teeth removed so there are two large gaps on my top gum. My bottom teeth never had a brace as theyre alright, I had it basically to push my teeth back into my mouth. So now my teeth are a little more pushed in but Ive got these two big gaps. I am really uphappy and it’s really affecting my life more than anybody could imagine. I dont want to smile or laugh I hate having my picture taken and am scared people will see I’ve got missing teeth. I work full time but doubt I’ll be able to afford the procedure to fix my teeth. What do you advise? Many thanks,,

Can you offer advice on how to treat crooked teeth and jaw problem?

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010
Q.
Hi, recently I have become more and more self-conscious of my crooked teeth, and I also have a few other problems with my jaw and teeth. I was wondering what can I do? as my dentist (despite visiting regularly) has not sorted or even attempted to provide me with information on what is available or what work needs to be done to put these problems right. These problems are holding me back to an extent, and I believe that if they were put right I would be much more confident.,

My teeth have become crooked now that braces treatment has ended

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010
Q.
I’m 22 and when I was younger I had fixed braces and when the treatment was done I was given removable retainers. However, despite using the retainer as instructed, slowly my teeth have moved. The two front teeth in my top set have grown slightly apart (although I still use the top retainer, it closes the gap temporarily) and the bottom are becoming a bit crooked ( the retainer doesn’t even fit anymore) Can these two different problems be solved using Invisalign? If so, what do you recommend being done afterwards in order for them to stay in place?,

Is inman aligner good option for moving teeth?

Thursday, January 7th, 2010
Q.
I have read that that the Inman Aligner Is only good at squeezing teeth together. Does this mean that my left front tooth that comes out more then the other tooth, will not be pushed back in line with the straight tooth, but instead the two teeth will will be pushed together therefore increasing my overjet. Thanks.,

Are braces dentist gave me not inman aligner but invisalign?

Thursday, January 7th, 2010
Q.
My dentist has given me clear aligners (clear align system) He has given me three of these. How do these compare to inman aligners? My teeth are moderatly crooked. He told me that the braces he was giving are inman aligners, but I know that this is not true as they look like the invasilign brace. I did actually ask for inman aligners and feel abit cheated. I have paid £1200 for these clear aligners.,

Best treatment avialable for overlapping teeth?

Thursday, January 7th, 2010
Q.
I have noticed that my bottom teeth are overlapping, I have never had braces, please could you tell me what would be the best way to straighten them. My bottom jaw is very small, I have had my wisdom teeth out because they were growing sideways. I would appreciate some advice. What would be the fastest way to straighten them? What would be most effective?,

Can my teeth be straightened without braces?

Monday, January 4th, 2010
Q.
Oh my i cannot believe i am actually doing this as i am petrified of dentists and have had numerous bad experiences!!! But here goes…i am 35yrs old and when i was younger i had many teeth out due to over crowding and what a nightmare (one i will never forget or have forgot) anyway i had to wear braces for a long time and when they came out was never offered a retainer (didn’t even know about them). My teeth are crooked and i would love to have a beautiful smile as i feel ugly because of my teeth and always smile with my mouth closed, i have had consultations where i have been told i should have braces and i have a slight over bite. I don’t know which way to turn and really can’t face wearing braces again. I really don’t know which way to turn and dream of having a lovely smile. Any advice would be grateful…Please and thankyou.,

Is it possible to get my retainers redone again?

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009
Q.
Hi, I had invisalign done when I living in America, about 2 years ago. But recently I have lost my retainer and I was wondering how much would that be to just have the retainer made again as I still need it for the top and bottom? Is it possible to have just the retainer done? Regards
